Great location, resulting in a great view. Wouldn’t go out of my way to pay a visit to the cafe – kind of all just average food, but coffee was pretty good and typical price. The actual cafe isn’t particularly well designed (not much effort), but the view is worth it – or the location at least!
I’ve only ever gotten the Bacon, Onion and Cheese Wedges with a coffee and they were very good! So if the basics are done right,the rest of the menu should be something to look forward too. I will most definitely be back.
I have only gotten coffee here before a walk around the lake. Coffee is always nice and strong. Would love to try their food however the price is pretty dear..
Started out bad when given a dirty knife and fork but they quickly surprised me with a very well done eggs Benedict. Might make my top five list for best eggs Benedict in Hamilton.
Took two staff members there today for lunch – we were all very disappointed – the service was not great – the lady who served us couldn’t even smile or be friendly – food was very expensive – sandwich – half filled – front looked not too bad but nothing at the back – horrible crust – milkshake warm and disgusting – $9 for a pie – tiny pie – OMG $52.00 2 x small club sandwhich – one small pasta salad $12 1x medium latte – 1x milkshake – 1 x frappe – you gotta be joking – we won’t be going back – place was cold – not atmosphere – you may have a good view but hay guys no need to rip everyone off !!!!!
Noticed some old reviews about coffee being poor, but that must have changed as the coffee was great. Got a double shot tall flat white.
Absolute worst service ever. Had some hopeless waiter spill huge bowl of tomato sauce all over my lightly coloured pants. Completely ruined. Incredible inept employees with a negligible duty manager. Refused accept any responsibility. Tremendously disappointing and upsetting end to a day out with family. Huge disrespectful staff! Not family friendly. Excessive prices.
