  Ok food hubby got pork which was very fatty, could have been nice if it had crackling. Need to turn the heating up, it was really cold in the restaurant, so didn’t hang around

  We went there after lunchtime. Only few restaurant opened. Nice food. Game room for youth with lovely gold fish. Price is ok. Only service need to improve.

  I remember cobb & co from when i was younger and it’s just as good as I remembered. Awesome night out!friendly staff, delicious food and reasonably priced! will definitely return next time I am in town

  Hi all I am really amazed and surprised that there are firstly only a few reviews on Cobb n Co Taupo as this has fast become one of the best places for dining in this Town Staff:Second to none in the whole Bay Of Plenty Auckland and most places in betweenPrices: Put it this way you want quality quantity and consistency you pay a little more,If you cheap and Nasty but filling go elsewhereMeals: Wow filling delicious flavorsome hot dishes are Hot Salad cold n crisp deserts beautiful Jess Shaun and Team keep up the friendly atmosphere the wonderful service and the delicious food You get 5 stars from me and well worth it

  We thought it was great Cobb & Co had returned to Taupo and to great location in the middle of town.Unfortunately our experience at Cobb & Co Taupo can only be described as terrible.The children’s meals were tiny, we needed to order a plate of wedges for them to eat after there meals as they were still hungry. The children’s butter Chicken was an absolute disgrace, the rice was cold, hard and dry. And the sauce was not butter chicken but more like a macaroni sauce.We also had to wait a considerable amount of time to place our orders and to receive our food. We also requested the children’s deserts be take away as it was getting far too late.The waitress was apologetic for the long wait and poor standard of the food. The cost of our Garlic bread, butter chicken and wedges were deducted from the bill.We will not be returning this was really disappointing Cobb & Co Taupo need to lift they game before they go the same way as the previous occupant of the site.

  Finally we thought, a great place was back in Taupo to go for a family meal out as this was certainly something that Taupo needed to fill this niche market – how disappointed were we though – for again we struck poor service ( a theme that seems to run throughout all Cobb & Co restaurants we have visited).We arrived just after 5pm and were promptly seated and orders were taken. However the first bit of poor service was when our sons drink had been missed. The next bit of poor service was when our sons desert just never arrived. And likewise our main meals were never cleared, and neither we were we asked if we wanted any deserts or coffee. Meanwhile tables around us had been cleared and on the odd occasion I thought a waitress had spotted that it was time for our sons desert to come out. Finally after being there for 90 minutes we had to go and ask the bar staff if the desert could be brought out. Then, our waitress came and finally checked on us only to find that we were still waiting on the desert to come at which time we requested it be taken away to consume as we had children to bath and put to bed. When we went to pay we mentioned we were still waiting on our desert to which there was no reply. Very disappointing and we won’t be back.
