Stopped by here just for dessert. It was nice they were open late (around 2115) otherwise we would’ve had to go without it. They were friendly and nice even though it was close to closing time. We didn’t feel rushed at all. We ordered a selection of hot desserts, drinks and cabinet food. There were a few interesting options in the dessert cabinet by the entrance but went with the croissant bread and butter pudding. It was sweet and tasty, kind of like how imaged it would. The other items also looked quite nice. Nice place to stop for sweet and savoury food depending on what you’re feeling like.
Someone recommended this place when I was heading to Taupo and gosh their BBQ pork ribs were really good! It was a generous serving of ribs, onion rings and chips. The meat was so tender and fell off the ribs with just slight cutting! It was good to be able to find a place selling ribs for $30 under. Personally think it would be better if there was a bit more BBQ sauce for the meat. Great service and great location looking at the lake!Food: 4/5Service: 4/5Overall: 4/5
