Rude service from the lady serving. She gave me an unclean jug of hot water for my coffee which had old milk stuck to the inside of it. No apology given when brought to her attention (in a really nice way too!). My table was dirty with crumbs that weren’t cleaned even though she was not serving anyone. Unhygienic experience and blase customer service. (3.30pm/ 31st Oct 2014)
Warm and interesting atmosphere, PERFECT coffee from the lady with the blonde hair, great front of house staff (efficient, precise and all going the extra mile including the wonderful lady who kept my envelope safe and spotted me the next day and assured me if i didn’t return she would have posted it for me.) Delicious and simple food that made me feel nourished without the obvious decadence of usual cafe fare, allowing the quality of fresh ingredients to speak for themselves this deli would be my local if I was local!

All the food looked delicious & was hard to choose what to have. Had the chicken wrap & orzo salad, top notch & very cheap too. Definitely be back next time I’m in Taupo
Good coffee, super food.The coffee was excellent, as was the hot chocolate. The platter of cheeses, bread, dips was delicious. Top quality olives, super hummus and a very good Gruyere. The croque monsieur was also great, with super ham. The chocolate brownie was very good, dense and moist. The other food looked very appealing too (I’m regretting not trying the roast pear salad). The service was also very friendly and helpful.It loses a star because it’s very pricey ($30 for the cheese/dip platter) and because the kid’s iced chocolate was bland
Fantastic Coffee, Chicken, walnut, rocket and lime aioli sandwiches are to die for! The deli has everything you could ever need! Awesome Staff! Great place! Make sure you give this little place a visit!
