I love the Shed for a casual lunch on a weekend. Service is always good, reasonably prices, good food, plenty of seating and great all year round. This is my go-to when I’m in Taupo, definitely recommend it
Fair pub food!! I went a few years back and didn’t enjoy it at all, going back this year I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food now on offer. I very trendy pub with great areas to dine or drink.
We went and had diner at the shed as we arrived at 4.30pm and went to the bar to order meal and was told they don’t serve meals until 5pm this was the only disappointing aspect of the whole visit we decided to have a bar snack until 5pm we ordered Garlic Bread its was great then by the above time we ordered the all day kiwi steak wow was cooked to order and was the best steak we have had for a while we done shame they are not open all day
I went there for dinner June 2010 both the meal and the service were great! I was very pleased with my meal as were the other 3 people I was with. Awesome atmosphere as well. Will definitely go back there!
Went there with a friend and the service was brilliant and friendly. Unfortunately the food was terrible – my friend’s burger was raw and squishy in the middle and the nachos were plain with lots of chips and not much topping. It was a real disappointment.
