I have eaten at this restaurant many times and have still not tired from its amazing food and wonderful service!!! I would defiantly recommend Castle 91 to anyone looking for a great meal out with friends and family. It is certainly a welcome addition to our town!
What a good acquisition for Otorohanga township. Tasteful decor friendly efficient service and most importantly delicious food. My husband and I dined in last Thursday, I ordered the Castle 91 Special curry and my husband the lamb korma. Both meals were delicious and generous. We would thoroughly recommend.

I am a well traveled American. This Restaurant was delightful find! We ordered appetizers and four different courses, all courses were excellent. The service was timely and courteous. Overall, a good Indian food adventure in the middle of North Island.
Excellent food. Plenty of choice with good portion sizes. Great friendly service and very competitve prices. Very quiet for a Saturday night but that didn’t detract from the experience. First time visit but will definitely be going back.
After a very stuttery start, it was a the best Indian food that we’ve ever had. We were there on a Monday night, so the place was empty, so the ambience was a little down, but at least the waiters were unobtrusive. I would definitely go there again.
This has to be the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to and that’s a huge statement for me. Sorry Spice Haven but you’ve been knocked off your perch! The food is spectacular, decor makes you feel like you’re really treating yourself, prices and food portions are great and the staff can’t do enough to make each time you visit feel special without bugging you every five minutes! Well worth a drive if you’re from out of town and definitely try their Castle Special dish – DIVINE!!!
