Dinner for two on a Sunday night.Turned up without a booking and no room in the restaurant part, so we sat in the area where the leaners are.This building was purpose built not long ago so it is set up really well.The waitress was very good and right onto it. Well trained staff in this place.Amongst other things I had the lamb as a main, and it was probably the best lamb I can remember – go them!!Very well presented and all food was very tasty.Can’t think of anything that was wrong so they get full marks from me – well done!Recommended.
This is the second time we have been here and We were very disappointed again. the service staff were not very well trained, they took the drinks order fast but we didn’t see the drinks for 20 mins after we reminded them twice. With regards to the food of the 10 dishes ordered, 2 of the dishes were good they were the cheese burger and the lamb, the so called bang bang chicken salad was more of a soup than a salad and there were no noodles in it, it was also overpowered with chilli.The steak dishes are served in the stupidest bowls that you just about have to stand up to try to use your cutlery because of the high sides. steak was good though and should have been for the price.The Banh mi rolls had sliced pork belly and red cabbage not sure what happened to the cucumber and coriander though.The pork Scotch was very good but the crackling not quite sure how it was cooked so we stayed away from that.After the meals we had half the table cleared and asked twice more to clear the rest of the table but was never done.
Easter sunday dinner at wayward pidgeon. Another expansion on the hamilton bar monolith. Nice new venue decent food. 1.8l beers are a must. Tried pretty much everything here. Go for the arancini.

Food was pretty good overall. Main issue is the waitressing, rude, inattentive and clearly looked like they didn’t care about you. Also food and drink took ages to come. Unfortunate that the kitchen is let down by their front staff.
