Best Korean place in Hamilton in my opinion. The stir fry menu is always filled with beautiful flavours. Our go to is usually the spicy chicken stir fry and the sweet beef stir fry to balance the flavours and oh my lord trust me when I say its an explosion of foodgasm with every bite.
Pretty good Korean restaurant located on the outskirts of Hamilton City. Ordered food took about 15 mins to be served. The kimchi that was served with the side dishes was probably one of the better kimchis I’ve ever had. The dolsot bibimbap could have been better. Only had a very skimp serving of beef in there. For the price could have been better. Otherwise the soup/stew dishes were nice. Flavourful but serving again was very small for the price.
soup taste good，with lots of vege and some beef. Compare the price of $18 to Auckland, I feel a little expensive. As there is not much meat in the pot, and side dish is ok for me.
Korean restaurant in Rototuna, has a good selection of Korean hot pot, stir fries, soup and stew. One of the good things about Korean restaurant is they usually give you free side dishes and it’s ok to ask for a refill. Ordered beef and mushroom hot pot, good size for two people, plenty of fresh mushrooms and veges. Price is reasonable, good quality of food and presentation. Although the kimchi is a bit on the sweet side for me, would recommend to anyone who’s craving for some authentic Korean food.
My go to in Hamilton for Korean lamb soup ( the only place that does lamb soup here ) . It’s getting more pricey for what you get. Still overall a decent meal that tastes good.
It’s more than a 5 star. It deserves a 10 star, by far the best service, food and nicest restaurant I’ve been in. There is nothing that can beat there customer service, dining experience and atmosphere. The pic shows it all. So head over too Arang for your Korean food obsession today. You won’t regret it. One of the few truly Korean restaurants in Hamilton, Arang serves your Korean favorites as well as a few more authentic dishes. Coming for Sunday lunch there was quite a crowd and although we didn’t have to wait for a seat, once we sat down in less than ten minutes the restaurant was full. We ordered in my opinion a nice selection of different meals, starting off with some traditional Korean street food the tebouki, this was some of the best tebouki I’ve had full stop, crisp on the outside and soft and almost creamlike inside, an excellent choice for starters.I had number 21 which was the Ox Bone soup, I’m a huge fan of Korean soups and the soup didn’t disappoint with a creamy deep flavor of broth. The other dishes we got was the Cold Ramen Noodles, Hot Plate BBQ spicy pork, Hot Plate BBQ Beef and the Dolsot Bibimbap (mixed rice).The dishes that came out all look absolutely salivating and the side dishes of pickled vegetables were delicious. In terms of portions, the meals are well-portion especially the bibibamp. Another great aspect of Arang is that they use proper hot-plates, which means that there is a nice charred flavor.Showstopper: Great range of Korean classics and awesome presentation.Overall Grade: -A
