Went to Cafe Botannix for a quick lunch, and it was really busy, there was a long line of people waiting to be served. After waiting in line for a while, one of the waitresses came and asked if she could take our order to speed the service up, so we told her what we wanted, she gave us a number and said we could pay afterwards. The food was good, the coffee could have been hotter though. But when we came to pay at the counter at the end of our meal, there was another long queue waiting to purchase food. We were told we had to line up at the end of the queue again to pay – that seemed crazy! There should be two tills if this is the system they are using. It was very frustrating and therefore the service was not very good. The waitresses don’t seem to interact very well with customers either.

There were two wait staff present at that time and no of the wait staff greet us with smile.Full marks on food but very bad service. need to improve the wait staff service
