Went there on Valentine’s day. I had the waffle of the week which was a Valentine’s day special. I wasn’t sure if it will be good since Ive tried their death by chocolate waffles and I didn’t like the texture. I think because it was gluten free. It was hard to find waffles in Hamilton that’s not gluten free !!! So I thought I would try my luck at cafe inc again anyways and this time their Valentine’s waffles was sooo good. Hope they bring it back again. My husband on the other hand got the egg benedict with salmon and it was tiny !!! And so expensive. We didn’t think it was worth it at all.
The food is acceptable and in a useful location. My main gripe is that they seem to have some sort of cross-contamination issue. So often my vegetarian salads have little bits of meat in them – usually chicken? Also some dishes marked as egg and dairy free have had bits of egg and feta in them. This says a lot!

Unfortunately the price for their coffee seems a tad more pricey than other cafes.Overall, clean and modern vibes and friendly staff.
Such a lovely cafe! I was on my way to Taupo when I’ve decided to have lunch there. Food is delicious, the coffee great! And really friendly staff.Good decision not to go to any of the fast food around. I will come back!
This is definitely the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Had a latte with a muffin. The latte just tasted like bitter burnt miso soup. Just because there are no good cafes around rototuna. For coffee lovers I suggest if you only needed to grab a morning coffee go to the BP petrol station they do better ones
I went here for breakfast this morning and felt disappointed after my vegetarian meal came out with a tiny bit of bacon on it – obviously a cross-contamination issue. This was really off putting to me and not very acceptable, I don’t believe. The staff dealt with the issue but weren’t very apologetic. From reading another comment on this page it seems that this might be a bit of an issue for them. Food’s fine – not the best. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you are vegetarian.
