Decided to try this place out after seeing that it was top 15 in NZ, and it sure deserves to be!For 2, we ordered 2 tarakihis, kumara chips, chicken burger, pineapple fritter, and Mango tango smoothie. The fish tasted fresh and the meat was tender. The batter was thin and perfectly deep fried. The kumara chips came in a very large portion size, and they were soft but crunchy at the same time. The flavors of the different ingredients in the chicken burger actuslly melded together (usually hard to find in fish and chip burgers) and generous amounts of both tartar/aioli sauce, and tender chicken thigh. Everything was well seasoned, definitely not too salty, but not flavorless either. They also drain everything well so nothing was oily. The pineapple fritter was a nice finish, with a cinnamon and sugar coating. Lastly, the Mango smoothie was thick and creamy, great to complement the food.Would highly recommend!
