Held so much promise but sadly the ribs were tough and disappointing. The sauce also had a raw spice flavour. What was more disappointing however was the really lack lustre response when politely escalated to two waiters. Learn to say sorry Wild Hogs!!

Great meal, relaxed time and great staff. Food was perfect and well priced. Staff were friendly and helpful, will come again. Steak was perfect and cooked as asked, my husbands fish was a big serve and he really enjoyed it. No room for dessert

2 years ago we had appalling service here, but we thought we would give it a try again as we were wanting burgers. Things looked good as the type of service had changed, you now queued at the bar to give your food and drinks order, instead of being waited ( or not waited on) . Tonight had turned very cold outside. Clear skies with plummeting temperatures , so we could not believe that every door and slider in the place was fully open on all 4 sides. It was too cold to take off coats to enjoy a meal, and everyone was sitting with coats and hats on, so I asked a staff member if the doors were staying open as it was obviously too cold for most people. She replied yes they would stay open. Luckily another table slightly more away from the open door became available so we moved, but was still too cold to take off our coats. Our starter quickly arrived, then closely followed by our mains. I said we have only just got our starter, to which the waitress looked confused and took the food back to the kitchen. No explanation or apology. They brought our mains back after we had finished our starter, and by this time we still hadn’t received our drinks that we had ordered. Another enquiry brought our drinks halfway through the mains. The food was really nice despite the poor service ( again) we were too cold to stay for dessert or more drinks, so will not be trying this place again.

5 stars all the way, they were extremely busy when we had lunch there today but the waitress still made us feel like we were the only table in the joint. Cant fault the meal at all, best vegetarian dish ive had in a very long time. Will definitely be back if im ever in the area again:-)

Don’t do it.We went there for a special treat with the wife and two kids in tow. They did in there defence warn us when we arrived that the delay for meals would be around 30 minutes. The restaurant was about 80% full so we thought, should be okay. The best thing that can be said about this place is that there is a playground on the other side of the road outside so that you can keep the kids entertained for a while whilst you wait over an hour for the entree. When the main came about an hour and three quarters into the experience we found that my wife’s medium steak was well and truly well done dry and chewy, and my fish was clearly left in the freezer too long. Needless to say, we did not eat it and went home for watties spaghetti on toast. When this placed opened (as The Fireplace) it was awesome. Every time it has changed hands it has got worse and worse. I honestly believe the only thing keeping this business open it’s location and appearance.

Food was good – unfortunately we didn’t get our entrees – they were taken to another table and we only got our mains. On the plus side they seated us promptly and didn’t charge us for the missing food.
