I have eaten breakfast or brunch here several times and really enjoy the high standard of food on offer. The menu is changed from time to time and this encourages repeat visits. The coffee is excellent and I have always found the service friendly. The atmosphere provided by the historic hotel building and being able to sit out on the veranda are definite bonuses.
My partner and I ate at Brew twice while in Thames recently. Went for dinner with friends and loved it. We received a warm welcome and the contemporary dinner menu offered a range of great sounding options. Meals were delicious and generous portions satisfied the very hungry member of the party. We liked it so much we went back in the morning and had a cracker of a breakfast. We’ll be back!
We have visited The Brew on several occasions hoping that it will get better. Sadly we have been let down on each occasion and won’t be rushing back soon. It’s a shame as it has such potential but while you have staff making comments relating to the number of people she has to serve, there were approximately 16 people in during our last visit, the service could be better too. To put it in a nutshell, it was simple food made simply awful!
Favourite place to stop for breakfast and coffee when heading up the coast, friendly staff great food and coffee. Also have a great dinner menu that ive tried on my way home and a great selection of wines and boutique beer!
Took my son there to celebrate something special and was very let down by there dishes. The steak sandwich was chewy and was missing key ingredients that were listed on the menu, one of my pet hates in cafe/resturants. The pasta was also completly different to how it was described. I have been to this place several times and it hasn’t wowed me yet, shame really cause it has potential to.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and the food is delightful will be booking in again soon.
Hi My friend and I tried Brew Cafe when it first opened. We now catch up there on a regular basis to enjoy a pleasant atmosphere, happy staff and not BURNT coffee. Yum Yum Thanks
