The woman serving at the counter, who I presume was also the chef due to her chef attire, was the rudest person I’ve encountered at a cafe in NZ. No smile, no small talk, couldn’t be bothered attitude, rude responses to our questions about the food. Couldn’t believe it, as had previously had good experiences at Alley Cats. The food was below average for the price. Pumpkin and chicken salad was bland and budget. Not worth the money at all. All of our meals were below par.Very disappointing. I do not recommend it to anyone with any sort of taste.

Felicity I felt the same way you did. Hate going to Cafes and have to guess the prices. Felt $5 was a bit steep for an average side salad. our meals were nothing to write home about and the coffee made me wish I had ordered the tea.
