We had an evening meal here. The service was great. I had duck breast and my husband had steak. We both agreed that it was one of the most memorable meals we have had anywhere. Both meals were cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.
Nice small cafe, but very small choices i was forced to take an option from the menu instead. I had the potato wedges with onion, bacon, tomato and cheese and was great.
The owner operators take great pride in their establishment and it shows. They only offer a standard knife with their steak meals and for a very good reason; it does NOT need a steak knife. It melts in your mouth it is so tender!! It is my first choice when I am asked where I would like to dine out. I recommend it to any one who is going through or thinks of visiting Tirau. :0D
