We stopped here for brunch. I had something from the counter – it was sort of a cross between an omelet and a pancake stuffed with chicken and avocado in a light cheese sauce. It was absolutely melt in the mouth delicious. There were 3 of us dining and we were all very happy with our meals and coffee.

Popped in for a cooked breakfast which was excellent, as was the coffee. Only complaint is the staff talking to each other in loud voices about a previous customer and personal life. Not appropriate and made experience less enjoyable!

I am a regular customer at Poppy’s Cafe. I always have a Mocha my favourite! Always a smooth consistency, Coffee just right and just the right amount of chocolate. And who can’t resist grabbing a bite while your staring at them through the cabinets. The gluten free almond berry slice is fantastic!!! With home made products it’s nice to know they take the time to make sure everything they bake and cook is all made on site just as the advertise. Well done Poppy’s, highly recommend.

Walked in, we were hoping to find a new place in Tirau to stop for lunch. Saw the obviously bought in food, walked out. Cannot stand spending good money on bad food. Will not be going back any time soon. Putaruru has better Cafes.

It was fantastic to finally enjoy a good hot cup of coffee on our way to the beach hop in Whangamata. My wife and I also had a gluten free quiche and a Mince and Cheese pie which was absolutly delightful.Would Recommend to anyone passing through looking to stop off in Tirau.
