Although there are several good cafes in Tirau our eating place of choice is always Ronnies.They have a good range of cabinet food and a wide choice of moderately priced cooked meals ranging from a choice of all day brekkies to grills and steak meals all substantial in servings.You dont leave here hungry!Last visit I had an all day brekkie of two eggs,a large sausage,tomatoes,bacon a hash brown and toast all for just under ten dollars and it satisfied my hunger!Def not haute cuisine but good tucker that the average kiwi likes especially when travelling.BTW the coffee is good too.
