Stopped in for a family lunch during the week. Service friendly. You order at the bar. Drinks poured from cans so not flat which was nice. Good sized portions for lunch that were well presented and food tasted fresh. Clean toilets too which is always a bonus!
Stopped here during the day on the way though Tirau. Pub type environment. Food was good – although not outstanding. Service was good. It was nice sitting on the deck in the sun. Worth calling in for you to make up your own mind. May have been worth a 3.5. 🙂

More of a 3 1/2. Great spot for a pub meal. Service was above average. Meal was worth the price. Atmosphere was what was expected for a pub meal. Not unhappy, got what I expected.
Fabulous place, food was great and very reasonably priced. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, made for a great night.
