I actually don’t want to write this review because it might mean Kava will run out of Cheesecake before we have the opportunity to visit again. LOL!!! We found our little cheese cake heaven. Thank you for excellent, friendly service. Will definitely see you again!!
We have been going to Kava for quite a while and when our daughter decided to have her wedding in Waihi Kava was the obvious choice. As always the food and service was excellent with no request too much trouble. The prices compared extremely well with many other venues. ALL the guests commented on the very high standard, and quite a few have added Kava to their list of places to get a decent coffee when passing through. Keep it up Kava long may you rule.
Had our Wedding Reception here and couldn’t have been happier, all the stuff were extremely helpful and friendly.There was no request they didn’t help with, including decorating the place with the decorations we provided in the way we wanted.The food was great, only really good comments from all our guests, and man have said they will be going back for more meals.The food was more then enough for all our hungry guests and the prices very very reasonable.We had many small children with as and the not only were catered for, within the food choices, but also with toys to play with.We have always enjoyed Kava and will always stop in each time we are in the area.We highly recommend them to all we know.
I always go to Kava with my friend and we always receive the same excellent service! I always love the opportunity to come and sit and relax with a great meal and good company. The staff are always exceptionally friendly and the food is always perfect!
My wife and i just had a lovely dinner at the kava Cafe, both meals were cooked perfectly and could not fault them . The service was great ,they were very accommodating to my fussy eating habits. Awesome place would recommend it to all. Great Coffee and Cake too.
I am disappointed because what was advertised was not what we received, and the response of staff in the café was abusive. My daughter is allergic to avocado. Thus there is a difference between a BLT with bacon lettuce and tomato and a BLAT with bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocadoShe ordered the former, but received the latter.When we drew this to the attention of staff we were sworn at and treated in a most abusive manner.As a matter of urgency I would request that you change your menu description to state that your new BLT is in fact a BLAT. It contains avocado. When this was mentioned to the manager – he basically ignored my daughter with the excuse it is new to the menu. Beside the point actually. Customer service by these people was unprofessional and very lacking. Won’t ever go back.
just wanted to say we have missed coming to Kava and after our night at the sterling (see my review on their page) we will be back and letting our friends know. A fantastic place to meet, have coffee, a wine with the girls and the food is really good.Looking forward to my next gathering at Kava.
