Situated on the edge of a cricket oval beneath huge old trees planted in the 19th century, this gem of a cafe offers fabulous food and excellent coffee away from the pressures of the city. Open seven days for breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea and occasional nights (such as quiz night Fridays), Prof's is also great for private functions, such as birthdays, high teas, and special events. While parents sit back and enjoy fine food, children can run about in the cricket oval or amuse themselves with a range of toys, including trolleys from the cafe. Afterwards take a stroll in the heritage gardens, recently awarded the prestige of being a Garden of National Significance. And do pop into the historic homestead, where the Anchor brand started.
