4 of us dined here on sat 22 march and found the meals to be of poor quality considering the price. The steak was substituted for scotch fillet which was more like sirloin and whilst it was cooked as requested (with no price reduction offered)the meal was badly lacking in quantity, particularly at the price. A few small potatoes and a small splash of salad,whatever it was was very disappointing.One of the group had a seafood platter which was somewhat tasteless, we know the food couldn’t be super fresh because of the geography of Taupo but this should be reflected in the price.Come on, we are are not all transient customers that you can feed any old stuff to and expect no feedback. If we hadn’t been so tired after a long day we would have raised these issues but sometimes you just can’t be bothered to try and point out issues as stated.Overall we found the meals poor value for money and would not return again.
