Me and my two friends decided to splurge out being our last night in Taupo on the Saturday night and we didn’t regret it. My friend and I had the lamb rack with Kumera puree and the dish was delicious. My other friend had the duck dish and said it was beautifully cooked. We also ordered the seasonal veges to go with our mains, 2 lots enough for 3 people. They were also nicely cooked.The desserts were nice. I had the chocolate brownie and my friend’s chocolate truffle cake was super but the pumpkin ice-cream was a bit tasteless.Meals arrived promptly but not too soon and staff very friendly. It was one of those lovely Taupo evenings and we sat outside on the lakefront. Lovely setting.

Almost a dinner dance sort of feel to it. Great spotHad the lamb entree of grilled lamb on beetroot which was ok but racks blew everything else out of the waterNice homemade icecream also
