Had a meal over Easter weekend, we ordered 2 children’s meal, steak meal and vege pizza for 1. Very nice overall, steak cooked as ordered, pizza with feta, rocket, fresh tomato on good base with Tom purée & mozzarella. Price was reasonable considering some around waitomo. Went back for very nice breakfast next morning.

We went to Pizzeria Morepork in Jan 2011 on our trip to Waitomo. We ordered a large pizza and we were not happy with the quality of the food. The ingredients they used were cheap e.g. The dough tasted like it was frozen, the chicken was not fresh and the rest were of a similar standard. We paid 27 dollars and thought it was a rip off considering how bad that pizza tasted. It was so bad we could not finish it and left very unhappy. They called themselves pizzeria which resembles in italian eatery but there is nothing italian about their food. All visitors to Waitomo be aware of this place, spend your money elsewhere.
great resturant. food was very fast and of excellent quality. the english? lady who served us was very friendly and all in all was a very nice experience.
