I used to love this place, when it was Laurenzos. Since changing ownership, the quality has dropped drastically, and the prices have been bumped up. Cashier/owner had no people skills, and I had to wait half an hour for one pizza; there were only 2 other customers. But if you like processed garbage at upmarket prices Whangamata Pizzas is for you.
Fantastic pizza, the best I have had in New Zealand. Had the chicken, cranberry and cashew nut pizza and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend the pizzas from here. The toppings were fresh and there was plenty of it. Service was great and staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back for more!
