We popped in for a cheap n cheerful lunch – the sushi was the worst I’ve had – a reasonable amount of filling – but tasteless.Deep fried calamari – was battered deep fried calamari – tender but no flavour, even with dipping sauce. Not long after leaving tummy felt revolting – gripey & grumbly. All the time we were eating, the person behind the counter was cleaning & fiddling in the restaurant & bordering on rude. It made the lunch very uncomfortable. We were the only people in restaurant – in peak season. There are a lot better choices around.

Probably the best value in Whitianga; not to mention some of the yummiest food. Great for takeaways and a lovely friendly place to eat in.
