Went here over the 2012-2013 New Years period, the place was pretty busy but ordered our pizza’s anyway and I was really impressed with the customer service and the food, theres nothing worse than a pizzaria who are stingy on toppings and charge an arm and leg but Dino’s is sweet, they do charge a premium price but I think its worth it. Pizzas took about 20-30mins but we knew about the wait time before we ordered.
Overall a satisfying experience.Having a craving for pasta we decided to go here to see what they had to offer. The lasagna was a bit of a let down as it wasn’t as cheesy as you would expect a nice comforting lasagna to be but tasted good with lots of layers of pasta. The spaghetti marinara was rather nice with aldente pasta that appeared home made. The sauce was rich but not overpowering and it was a nice point of difference to have cockles (which came in abundance) in amongst the seafood.People at the neighbouring tables had the chicken salad which also looked delightful.The prices were very reasonable and we left satisfied. I would definitely go back for the spaghetti or even to try the salad!
The pizza at Dinos is always great. Luke and the team are very accommodating and generous. I love getting take away and dining in as it is always a great experience.
08.01.2012. Had a most excellent dinner. Took the 3 kids and staff made us welcome and offered us the option of waiting for a big table or squeezing on to a smaller one. Chose the small table. 3 pastas, 1 pizza and 1 salad. All eaten with gusto and relish.! Great friendly service and meals came out in just the right amount of time. Would recommend to anyone wanting a meal in Whitianga.
The service was fantastic, the food terrific. I ordered rigatoni primavera as my main and that was prepared very well. Upon conversation with the wait staff, I suggested that the pasta was a tad bit firm and would have been perfect with a minute more of boiling.On saying our farewell to the staff and the cook, I noticed that the cook was not smiling and a bit disheartened (possibly due to my small comment). I gathered that they take their service genuinely and that made my day.
We went in mid week, prompt and friendly staff. Lovely pizza with generous amount of topping’s. Only disappointment was they had run out of several key ingredients, and the menu was limited. Would gladly go back another time.
Service was excellent (we ordered takeout so first impressions where good).Doe for the base was fresh ingredients where fresh taste how it should and was made within 15-20 minutes like they said when making the order.Highly recommend.Please note we had vegetarian pizzas.
