This was honestly some of the best Indian food that I have ever had, and I’ve eaten Indian food all over the world. Definitely the best I’ve had in New Zealand since moving here in 2016. Their fish tandoori was incredible. The fish was so tender and cooked perfectly. The texture was just right and the green sauce it came with made it that much better. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a bit spicy as well. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Indian medium spicy and it was just the right amount of spicy for me. The chicken was soft and tender and the curry sauce itself was very flavorful. It came with a good portion of rice and I had the garlic cheese naan on the side. I drove an hour out of my way on my road trip because I was craving Indian food, and this place definitely did not disappoint. I will stop by again for sure when I am back in the area. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They have awesome music videos playing which adds to the overall atmosphere. The restaurant is decorated very tastefully and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Overall I recommend Sangam Indian Cuisine for anyone craving delicious Indian food like I was!
