Our lunch was incredible. The food was very tasty, beautiful interesting presentation, the restaurant clean, comfortable and welcoming. The service was helpful friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced, my mum and I are very grateful for our lovely dining experience. Thank you
Absolutely beautiful Japanese food, probably the best casual Japanese restaurant I’ve ever had. Everything on their menu is fantastic and so well-priced. Just wish they were open more!
This is a Japanese restaurant that doesn’t have the decor to go with the very solid food or the rather high price tag. My unagi don came out on a traditional wooden flat tray inside a lacquered box. It is obvious the chef have taken care in preparation of my meal well, but not overly so. I can’t help but feel it should be a few dollars cheaper than what I paid, but it was a very enjoyable lunch nevertheless.It is rather busy, but the wait time is reasonable. Food – 7/10Decor – 5/0Price – 5/10
Excellent quality of foods for lunch. This restaurant is always busy between 12 pm and 1 pm. So booking a table may be necessary. Highly recommend for informal dining with family and friends.
Good place for lunch. I usually get the chicken or salmon donburi. Its delicious and good portion of food. The atmosphere is nice. Will come back again to try something else from the menu.
I Japanese is always a go to option for lunch when I visit the fam in Hamilton. Their menu is pretty affordable and the quality never wavers.I ordered salmon sashimi with a side of rice. It was surprising how much salmon I received for $12 having ordered the smallest platter. It was fresh and well presented with a serving of soy sauce and Wasabi as condiments.We also ordered their classic teriyaki chicken donburi which is so worth it for the price and filling. They don’t skimp on meat, that’s for sure.We also got the teriyaki tofu set, a lovely combo set with buttery tofu, rice, salad and a potato croquette. The tofu has a wonderful buttery glaze on it and sizzles away when you receive it so you have time to eat the other parts of the dish as it cools.We also got the deep fried tofu side and renkon chips to complement our choices. Overall, I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a good quality, clean and satisfying meal. It gets very busy during lunchtime so it’s good to call and reserve seats.
