Nice relaxed local pub with friendly staff offering simple, tasty, value-for-money meals and good service. Reasonable wine list too. We’re regulars – especially on Wednesday two-for-one night.Great pizzas and pork spare ribs, but my favourite is the pork belly.

Two mains for the price of one wednesday nights. Staff very friendly, a+ on service. Fish of the day was cooked perfect and pizza was very good.
Great place to socialise, good Pizza brilliant meals. Can get a bit busy but worth it. Very reasonable pricing through the whole range, meals and craft beers. Friday seems to be family night earlier on but as there is an area at front you dont really notice and it adds to the local atmosphere.
Have been here many times, and would certainly come back. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff are very helpful, service is prompt. The meals are delicious with an amazing menu, I’d like to try more! I have seen they have an area for families but for those of us without children you wouldn’t really know they were in the same building. I have taken a team to quiz night,we failed miserably but had great fun. The guys shared a super jug, drinks were well priced and they have a wide selection. I would recommend this establishment to everyone.
i like the pizza. poker is fun on a thursday. the bands when playing a good. it has a juke box and a good game of pool with a darts board to keep one occupied. there is a smokers lounge with a brooklyn NYC theme. sport and a tab are also there for your enjoyment. panhead is on tap with your usual asortment of brewery beers. if your into it you can also have a flutter on the pokies. located left at the lights turning into cleveland street. parking is available downstairs.
Went here tonite, 2 Adults, 3 Children. so many bad things went wrong i would never go there again, and we used to be regulars.1: kids menu Nachos – after tasting this it was really spicey, was told this is a dish off the bar menu and is standard with chilli beans in it, nothing mentioned on the kids menu about chilli beans.2: Chicken Nuggets and fries – never got them. (kids menu), after asking about this, the staff never said once that it wasn’t coming, just said i will find out and didn’t come back until i went up to the bar and asked. Meals were still coming but no nuggets and fries, ( a 10 minute meal should of come out in between these meals.3: Chicken Burger – the bun was frozen and the chicken fillet was dry and overcooked4: Ordered Entree, that came out fine, then 40mins later out came mains, well some of them.5: Went to the bar and asked for the Manager, explained everything and he could not explain anything apart from they were busy and offered to cook us something else, 1.5 hrs later really!!6: As i am explaining everything to the Manager the actual Owner of this Restaurant (Brooklyn Bar and Bistro) (now called THE BROOKY) is standing right there and says nothing, not even offer a sorry.7: Another family beside us had wrong orders and were getting no explanation for this as well.I really hope this Bar/Restaurant take this criticism seriously and step up their services, otherwise they are going to loose a lot of customers.I have given a 1.5 score because the Garlic Bread and Shrimp Cocktail was good.
