Went there as a group of 7 for my birthday this week. We had booked for 6pm but a couple of the group were late due to traffic. The staff seated us and were very helpful while we waited for our friends. We ordered a variety of different main courses which were served quickly and all were excellent. The steak and fries were on Special that night (Thursday) so some of us had that. Medium rare, medium and well done. All were cooked as they should be and were very tasty. Couldn’t fault the food or the waiting staff. Would recommend and we will be going back soon.
Went here as this was one of the very few options available to us in the area.Place was very busy for a Tuesday evening.. The waitress was very lovely however it looked like the staff were under a lot of pressure and finding it hard to keep up with the crowd. We waited nearly an hour after which 2 different meals were brought to our table with the waitress asking if we had ordered those meals?? Clearly they had either messed up the orders or couldn’t be bothered checking. Our meals finally arrived after over an hour. The food portion was generous and tasted average. I ordered the pork ribs which came with chips, the chips were better than the ribs, we also got the cheesy garlic bread which was the best.
Service good. Food average. Wait time- too long. This could have been due to a function arriving soon so were focasing more on getting those meals ready though.
I enjoyed the friendly service from the staff here and the honest food. My corn fritters were a steal at $12!! A group of us came here to watch a sports event on Friday and they were kind enough to switch the audio on to our sport. Thank you!
Good local pub with cheapish beers and okay food. Food is a little expensive for what it is though.Pizzas are good but at $21 each they are just not worth it. Best thing to do is go to the Sandbar on Tuesdays when they have pizzas for $12.The Sandbar also has a number of TVs onsite so great place to go down with some mates to watch the game. They also have a tab counter onsite and a few pokie machines if you want to get your gamble on. Bar staff are good but the ones that deal with the diners sitting in the restaurant section of the premises so need a bit of work on their customer service.Food – 4/10Service – 5/10Ambiance – 7/10Price – 3/10Would I return – only to the pub side to watch the game and have some beers with some mates.
Went for dinner last night and ordered crispy pork belly what a disaster where was the crispy crackle none to be found and two out of three salad not even dresses. Spoke to waiter who offered different meal but as everyone else at table was eating refused, was given dressing for salad on request. Not sure I would return in a hurry.
Worst service I have ever come across the waitress was very rude and abrupt from the moment we walked in so we didn’t even stay to order due to the bad service!
