When it’s open – the food is fabulous. The owner – well, maybe he’s not eating enough of his delicious food. He seems particularly rude and grumpy to staff and sometimes customers too. It’s not conducive to wanting to be there.
Four of us went for brunch. Two of us had the Beef bourguignon pie. It was amazing – beef was tender, full of flavour and cooked with love. Although more liquid inside that expected, the supplied spoon allowed us to finish it off easily. Highly recommended for brunch. The pastry from the cabinet was delicious.
