My group of four turned up at Gisele’s Cafe planning on a nice relaxing Saturday brunch – we asked at the counter for menus, and were told they had cabinet food only. It was 11.15!And, to be frank, the place needed a clean. See ya later!
What an adorable little cafe. My wife and I are on our honeymoon in New Zealand, and we drove from Wellington to Eastbourne nearby to take a nice walk along the water. We stopped in this cafe which you can almost miss from the street of shops (since it’s kind of in the back), and it was adorable. My wife is a foodie and said it was probably the best scone she’s EVER had. A beautiful pairing of that scone with her soup, very generous sizes of each, and she loved her meal. Making the experience even better, both Gisele and the lady working with her gave wonderful recommendations as to where we should explore, and it was just a very pleasant and warm experience. Lovely stop in a quaint area!
