Definitely one of my favourite places to get a quick decent feed. Very consistent. Today had a Seafood laksa takeaway $13.00, really good portion size and taste great.
I’ve always been tempted to try here but couldn’t get past the food cabinet smorgasbord with all the pre-cooked dishes. They just weren’t that appealing to me. Today I fancied a hot spicy noodle soup so I asked at the counter. That’s when I realised they have a menu and you can order dishes. They don’t really do vegetarian but they adjusted the tom yum soup with veggies. They added some tofu.Big dish, loaded with veg; Carly, lemon grass, mushrooms, broccoli and baby sweet corn. Flavoursome broth. I was pleasantly surprised. Very enjoyable.Staff very helpful and friendly, especially as it was a busy Friday night.
Typical forecourt Chinese food. Definately nothing special. Average taste. Have thought in the past won ton soup is good but haven’t been there in awhile and only recently went again to find it a bit tasteless this time. Spring roll definately not worth it, couldn’t find any meat in it, seemed to be just cabbage and carrots. Can’t really fault the dim sims except would be nicer warmer than what they were.
