I’m a big fan of sushi but I would rate this place average. The price is not too high but the flavor is very plain. It’s a self-serve place. I had Tamakoyaki Nigiri (egg on top one) and vegetarian maki. The rice is too dry but toppings are good. It has wide selection of sushi, which can satisfy most people.
Tried Umi Sushi for lunch today. It was my first visit.I picked six pieces which cost me $10.00. Salmon, crumbed prawn, seaweed, chili chicken, teriyaki chicken and avocado and a vegetable patty.The sushi was fresh and well presented. Each piece had flavour. The pickled ginger wasn’t as sharp as some I’ve tasted. It was a little sweet. The Wasabi wasn’t as punchy as some I’ve had.I like sushi and eat it regularly. In short, I found this sushi average. But that is based on my preference.
