I’ve travelled the world,I’ve sat in many a cafe, but I have yet to experience the warmth and friendly service marsden provides. The go above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is a quality one.credit has to the chefs for the exceptional food and the front of house staff/coffee makers. So many times coffee can be burnt or bitter but with these guys perfection everytime.I dine there everyday And quite frankly anywhere else would be a disappointment.5/5 10/10.Just go there to experience it for yourself.
A very cool cafe with great food and great staff. Congratulations Morgan on remembering my name.. 10+Have eaten here several times in the past and always enjoy the experience.
Hidden treasure in the shopping complex. Nice cabinet and cake selection however some of the cakes were uncovered. The sandwich I got was absolutely delicious and everyone else enjoyed their food too. Coffee was ok.
What a total disappointment. Service was surly, and they had started closing down for the day although they still had an hour of service to go. coffee average and could not believe I paid $7 for a frittata the size of a small muffin, taste edible for the hungry. Pies were ok but the shine was taken off with the crashing and banging of chairs bring stacked etc. Service really sucked, no atmosphere, no vibe and won’t be coming back even for A takeaway. Next time I will try the little bakery opposite.
It was ok. Very noisy and the lady at the coffee machine seemed very frazzled. Some food was uncovered or covered by broken lids. Food was good and so was coffee.
With the change of owners over a year ago, I feel that this place have lost it. Previously staff were friendly, food was great and atmosphere was cosy. We went there for breakfast two weeks ago, was very cold in the cafe, asked for a heater, none was available. Staff taking my orders were not sure of the menu pricing even there is not much there. Cafe tables were really dirty and sticky, obviously not cleaned the night before. Asked to be clean, said they are the varnish. Coffee came luke warm, not hot so that was not good at all. Breakfast came, not tasty, bread was hard, eggs not tasty. Worse of all, my kid ordered Salmon stack, came without salmon. My kid heard the chef swearing, which is not good. Salmon came later but it was too late.So I am not going back anymore, too expensive for the quality of service, food and atmosphere.
Unfortunately I think the place has gone backwards with the new owners. My kids had the waffles, quite doughy like a pancake mix. My daughter refused to eat them, my son had the bacon sandwich which was pretty basic, just bacon on bread and I had the big brekkie of which the bacon was burnt. Kind of felt there was little cooking skill involved here. The menu listed above is not the same one they use now.
