Great to have a suburban cafe to have lunch on a Sunday, so pleased not to have to go into the city. It was really busy and the satff were brilliant at catering for a big group of Marsden college girls coming in from the cold for hot chocs while families and friends had lunch. We had wonderful hot pies, perfect flaky pastry and a small salad offered on the side at no extra cost. The coffee here is super good. The right temperature and strength. There was a really friendly young woman serving and nothing was a problem. The smoothies are delicious. For about $40 for two adults and two children, food and a beverage is really good value, especially considering the high quality of food. Thank you, made our day!
This is one of the worst cafes I have ever been to. The service here is appalling. When you walk in the staff do not even greet you or advise you that you need to order at the counter. The food here is unpleasant. I ordered the salmon and eggs and it was so salty I struggled to eat it. The only thing that made it bearable was the tasty tomato relish that accompanied it. The coffee here isn’t bad. But quite honestly, I would avoid this place completely, and I am really surprised a place as bad as this is still going. Karori is renowned for its selection of terrible cafes but this one sure takes the cake. And to top it all off, their cutlery is dirty!
