Tried some of their homemade pies and they are delicious. They have a selection of savoury sandwiches and sweet treats. Will be back to try the pulled pork sandwich.

I always drop into Penny’s for a quick bite and their coffee is good too! They have a good selection of cabinet foods, lovely pies and yummy slices. Their panini’s are my favourite and it’s a must try! They also have a great number of frozen meals for your lazy mood swings at home. 🙂

Whoever makes the food here certainly knows how to cook. All the salads and mains I have had from here have had the most exquisite flavours. Try the chick pea salad. Everything I have tried has been very tasty. Bit pricey but nice find.

Penny is an enthusiast for food which shows in the ever changing cabinet in her little shop on karori road. Walk through the red and white chain fly screens and you enter the shop of a real foodie. Whether it’s the Reuben sandwich, lovely pies, sweet treats ( usually slices or friands), or salads and meals to take home – all are good and made with passion. She has a good crew and there is always a nice welcome. Her coffee is I think eight thirty which is an ok blend and like everywhere just depends who makes it. There’s a small range of Penny-produced preserves. Penny and nearby Gamboni are good for karori in different ways.

Great food. The berry friands are superb. Easily found on the main road in Karori, just south of the mall traffic lights. Friendly staff as well.

Makes the best coffee in Karori, a wonderful selection of sweet and savoury baking, and meals to take home. Very friendly chatty staff make this quite a special stop every morning.
