Stayed at the Brentwood Hotel whilst in the city for a holiday/business, ate in the restaurant located onsite known as Aqua Bistro & Bar. The girls that served me, Sienna and Cassandra were brilliant, the service I received from them was fantastic. They were efficient at getting me seated in a great quiet spot, they were brilliant, explaining the menu, and the specials on offer. The bar person, Katarina was great, my drinks arrived promptly. The girls were all smiling and looked happy to be there, they all spoke to me, and took a genuine interest in me, asking questions making me feel welcome and special. I really enjoyed the food, the Lamb Rack is tasty and filling, and the Creme Brûlée was even better. Looking forward to my next trip to the capital, the hotel itself may be dated, but together with its outstanding service provided by staff members like Sienna, Cassandra and Kat it makes it one of the best places I’ve stayed in to date.
I’ve been staying at the hotel for a work training event and have eaten in the restaurant with a group for 6 nights running. I have tried nearly everything on the menu in that time and I’ll tell you now, the food is great. My favourite would be the cheese beignets which was a part of the entree list and I really enjoyed the Brentwood cheeseburger. A couple of the waitresses looked daunted by our table a few nights, but one of their staff, Cassandra, served us 3 nights. She kept us all entertained and happy and well looked after while we waited for our entrees and mains. (Which usually took time considering there was anywhere up to 9 of us and other diners too). When it came to paying at the end of the night, she had it covered, no messing around splitting the bill, she had listened to what we said and had it all ready to go, which meant there was less waiting time and exceptional service. Great job by the chefs and the staff, especially Cassandra at the Restaurant in the Brentwood Hotel.
