Honestly the pizzas are quite nice. But I’m partially lactose intolerant so usually if my family orders pizza I’ll get a side ordered. I’m really not good with handling spice and ALL their chicken sides are spicy. Their chips (including wedges) aren’t very nice because they are soft and moist. I think I’m just gonna start ordering from hells because their sides look nice and they are free range.
I got a delicious Cheesy Garlic Onion pizza! I couldn’t stop shovelling slices in my enormous mouth! However, this resulted in a very sad tummy but that may have been my fault for being a 1932kg hungus bungus! But just be aware that I was forced to dock a mark due to the loss of my internal organs!
Went here last week my order for 3 pizza’s arrived on time and were hot on delivery. The staff over the phone were friendly and the deilvery man was smiling. Would rate 5 stars if the pizza base was less crispy, however overall it tasted great!
The pizzas were hot when delivered and were specific to my order. The delivery man was friendly and got to my place in good time. Would definitely recommend
Order took over an hour to arrive. Not cool. I could’ve driven to Hell’s, ordered and been back home with my food in half the time. They threw in a free dessert and drink. Would’ve preferred a phone call advising of the delay and a query as to whether I still wanted to go through with the order.
What a disaster. At 6.15 pm tonight I rang for the special of delivery of 3 pizzas, 2 garlic bread and 2 1.5 L of drink. I provided all the information – and my address. They told me it would take 45 minutes. After 1 hour I rang and explained it was now 15 minutes late and asked how much longer it would be – I had two young children waiting for their dinner and there were six of us in total. First of all the girl I spoke to said she had no order for me. Then she asked me if I was sure about the house number!! Then I got put onto the manager who told me it had been ready but it was for a pick -up – even though the special was for delivery AND I been asked for and had provided my address and my phone number. He then tried to persuade me they would start again and send it as soon as they could. I said that if the order was available they should deliver it straight away (we live 5 minutes drive from the shop) and I should not be charged. Eventually – 15 minutes later – the now almost completely cold order arrived – and they had the audacity to try to charge me $20. I said no – I would not pay for cold pizza when the person who had taken the order had stuffed up. I told the manager he should take full responsibility for the stuff up and that I would put a bad review online – so this is it!!! I would not recommend Domino’s Lower Hutt Central. Not only did they make a mistake with the order but the manager would not take responsibility for it. The shop should know that when you say you want the particular special that includes delivery that is what you want – and why else would they need my address!!! I will not be using Domino’s again. I now understand why their average review is 2.7 out of 10.
Been here a couple of times before and always been good, but forget to leave a review. Popped in today (7/3/15) at around 5pm ish and ordered a meatlovers on classic crust, ($11.99) a peri peri chicken pizza ($14.99) some chicken bites with ranch dressing (20 for $5.99) and some cheesy garlic bread ($5.99). As I sat down I forgot that I ordered Peri Peri which I remembered is hot, so I quickly went to the desk and asked if I could take the sauce off, and they said it is added at the end, and it’s no problem.The man at the desk said it would be about 10 – 15 mins but I only waited about 5 mins. There was one person waiting but as I left it started to get busier. The pizza’s (especially my peri peri one without the peri peri lol) was delicious, I loved the chicken with the spinach and the cherry tomatoes, a bit of a healthier pizza, and the chicken bites were a bit spicey but just right. Very good service, good food.Keep up the good work Domino’s.
