Been twice and each time have food has been very slow to come out with only 1 or 2 other tables in the restaurant. Food also seems to come out strangely staggered with long waits between each plate. Tastes amazing though!
The food is good. There is disconnect between the person taking the orders and the chef. We ordered two meals to have in the restaurant and one as a take away. They were all prepared as a take away and then corrected which meant the take away was horrible by the time we got home. Decor is a bit strange. Will go back at some stage. This venue seems to change hands a lot so I hope they have better luck.

The old Fusion bar, under new management has greatly improved it’s food quality. Nanny’s eatery have put there own twist to there burgers as well as there food. Nanny’s eatery and garden bar are on the verge of bringing good food to the Lower Hutt/Wellington region.
I’ve ordered to take out twice now. The second time I arrived home to find my order was wrong, I was given a different side than I ordered so be sure to check if you take out. The food is really nice though, you can’t get burgers like this anywhere else in Lower Hutt (or maybe even Wellington) they are absolutely massive. They are priced to match the size though so eating out as a family would add up very fast. Definitely worth splashing out once and a while though. They do a special burger of the week, check out their social media to see what they come up with.
The meal was tasty, however we ordered the kids burger and according to the menu it is served with slaw and sauces but there was no slaw in sight!
