Absolutely great. We were in Wellington for 6 weeks and had lunch here on 5 occasions. We were never disappointed with the quality and variety. The roast potatoes were well cooked and crispy. I would lk to get their recipe for cooking these potatoes. The only disappointment is I wished they had an outlet in Dunedin.
Wonderful little place that really reminded me of home (the UK). Lovely value; had a roast pork sandwich with red onion and mayo, craved hot and fresh for me with some roasties on the side. Was absolutely excellent! Look past Burger King and try this place!
I find this place a bit average for roast. It’s not your ‘tasty roast meal’ (like the one in Johnsonville – which I will review at some stage). It’s just an average roast meal. If you get in early you can buy a apple crumble before they all go – quite a good dessert to add. They have value meals, roast meals with drink or sandwiches, and also sml, med or large sizing.
