I came here after my workout and ordered the chilli beef nachos, and a latte frappe. I was so severely disappointed that I walked away having had barely any of my meal. The nachos were extremely bland, no spice or chilli in it whatsoever I don’t know how they can call it chilli nachos. It was served with puréed avocado, passing it off as “guacamole”. The frappe was okay, but very watery. The service was absolutely appalling from who I assume was the manager. As soon as I went up to the till he was dismissive and cold and extremely rude. The frappe was advertised as “can be served with ice cream for $1.50 extra”, so I asked for that and he corrected me and said “so that’s just the frappe” and rolled his eyes. I’ve been a barista for 3 years now, frappes as part of what I make and they aren’t usually made with ice cream so he corrected a customer incorrectly in a very blunt rude manner. The waitresses were lovely but I’m extremely disappointed and will not be visiting here again.

There was excessive coconut and tasted very sour. To their credit, they offered us another drink (this time a Mango Smoothie). This was even worse than before. The mango was mixed with remnants of strawberry, chocolate, coconut, banana, and pineapple from the machine. I assume the container was not cleaned before making the mango smoothie. The taste of mango was missing totally. The smoothie was watery. Staff were dismissive and rude. It was no coincidence that there was only one other person at the cafe, given their shockingly poor service and quality. It beggars belief that this establishment won a Retail Excellence Award from the Mall Management. It is very hard to imagine anything else worse than this establishment.
Food is great as to other coffee club. However, when I asked for more menu in the counter where three of us with only one menu on the table, the female staff said “they are on your table”. Then I just turned around and get another menu from an empty table. Not very satisfied with this.
A great place to meet with friends or family. Food is always good. Used to enjoy the nutella and marshmallow pizza(cant remember the exact name), which was for a limited time only
Good, fast service. Great coffee and food. Good place for a quick drink and/or snack, but also a feed if you have the time. The eggs benny combos are legendary. My only negative is the coffee is Luke warm (as standard – you can ask for hotter when ordering) but this is a NZ thing anyways
Great, cheap food! However the menu is constantly changing and the service can be horrible, some really odd choices of staff there and their attitudes, but they are useful if you want a meal slightly altered. Go for the food and ignore everything else and your wallet will still be thankful!
Can get fantastic food cooked to order – not something you can normally get at a coffee shop, really delicious, quick and clean setup. Service is also very good and coffees are very well made.
