Tried the new version of this cafe today. Fresh and clean inside, great service and heaps if menu items. We had chicken ‘salad’ with poached eggs and steak bits and mushrooms on sourdough – both delicious, steak was top notch. Will head back for sure.
Food was great. First time we were there coffee was fantastic. This time round (our second visit) coffee wasn’t of the quality of our first visit. Possibly different barista. Otherwise food and service was great. Nice morning out.
This place is closer to where I live and I love their coffee. We’ve had their big breakfast & found they charge too much for what it is. Nice small courtyard out the back. There’s a group of men that either sit there or outside the cafe, kinda mafia looking older men smoking and having a good yarn. I wouldn’t go here for food, just coffee.
I had a big breakfast and hot lemon tea in the courtyard one time, nothing special really but a quaint experience. There was a big group of I am guessing Italian or something older guys in the courtyard while I was there having coffee & ciggies and having a good conversation, I was amused I felt like I was in some sort of Goodfellas or The Godfather set. They were gentlemen tho–JUST LIKE MAFIOSOS IN THE MOVIES! lol
Had been advised by friends months back that this was a great cafe sadly not my experience. Staff friendly and pleasant. Food very average. Must have had loads of kids in earlier as the tables were sticky and the floor filthy. Understand busy but need to sort that one out. Coffee average. Food lukewarm. Sorry guys have to up your game
Pleasant staff. Good coffee. Average menu, all the standard breakfast things like egg bene and pancakes. I have a craving for some salad but they don’t have any on the menu. Cakes looked nice.
Found this place on the internet. Coffee was great, meal was well cooked and fulfilling and decor / seating is ideal. Exactly was I wanted for a Saturday lunch. Everyone I dined with had a really satisfying experience!
