These guys have been around for years! Recently had a small chicken kebab from here – was nice and fresh, nice wrap and fair size.
Great efficient and friendly service. Menu on here is outdated, so give them a call. Tonight we ordered 2 lamb kebabs w cheese added and cost $23 (cheese an additional cost). Great portion size, solid wrap where everything was held together nicely. Meat tender, standard salad, sauce brought most of the flavour. Would appreciate a varied salad including options for olives, but no biggie.
Ventured out of the CBD with the family not knowing what I felt like eating, first time kebab stop for poppa and papa, they loved the combination of flavours, I feel salad options could be expanded however falafel mix was delicious.
I definitely recommend Sinbad’s. Both the doner kebabs and iskander meals are wonderful. The couple who run it are warm and welcoming. The service is fast and efficient. The place seems very clean. One of my favorite takeaway places in Wellington.
I would say they are the best in Wellington, as I’ve eaten them from every shop in Wellington. These people serve by far the most superior donors. We have them once a week and have been doing so for the last 18months.
This has become a regular Saturday night takeaway – the Iskanders are delicious especially the vegetarian one with falafels and mujver – yum. The meat is also Halal.The kitchen is lovely and clean too.Very friendly staff. I highly recommend you check this place out next time you are in Kilbirnie. You’ll defintiely come back for more.
