For a Fish and Chips shop this place is seriously awesome. Decent selection between fish and chip type food and Chinese dishes. Really good for takeaways on a Friday night and there is definitely something for everyone.Have tried many different things from Jo Kwong’s and so far nothing has been a disappointment. The Chicken Burger is one of the Fave’s and priced really well as well.If you enjoy good fish and chips the you can go past the Blue Cod meal. While price seem a little steep it is defiantly worth it. Two decent pieces of Blue Cod fillets cooked to perfection served wit chips and very close to the best fish and chips I have ever had.The Chinese dishes are good too. Favourite has to be the Nasi Goreng with Sweet and Sour Pork. Nasi Goreng sometimes has a raw curry powder taste but probably just needs to be cooked a little longer and only happens when it is really busy.All in all this takeaway is highly recommended whether you live in Martinborough or are there for a get away and if you can try and phone your order through as this will cut down your waiting time.Staff Friendliness – 9/10Food – 8/10Value – 8/10Would I return – Everytime I am in Martinborough.
