Such a great find! The awesome service and vinyl got us excited from the minute we walked in! Followed by the great selection of local wines and a yummy menu of small plates, Micro became our favourite restaurant/bar.
Great atmosphere, wonderful hosted a and yummy food – we couldn’t decide what to eat so tried all the sharing plates!! Definitely recommend giving this place a go.
Second time to this small but fun bar in Martinborough. New owners have been there for a few months now and made a few changes, which we loved the old school turntable and selection of albums you can ask the owner to play, but disappointed to see some of the amazing tapa dishes gone, but understand they want to change things a bit. The one thing that really annoyed is that if a business posts their Xmas hours on Facebook, then stick to them? We went to go one day we understood quite clearly they would be open from 3, turned up and a hand-written note was put up to say back tomorrow. We tried again the next day at 3.45 (again believing that opened at 3) and we’re told come back at 4 which was their regular opening time. As so many people are passing through or only staying a day or two this was somewhat frustrating. It’s early days for the new owners who were very pleasant so maybe just a hiccup.
A must stop just for the wine list and wine tasting platter. The offering of small plates each had a variation of what you would normally expect and that was a great change.A very small dining environment matched with attentive service.Make this place one of your diner choices.
