I had a open chicken burger and my companion had gnocchi. They were both lovely full of flavour. Lovely attentive service and lovely and clean venue.
Fast service, friendly staff and short wait on food despite a packed house – waitress even discussed the options when asked to recommend even though they were obviously busy! Food itself was above average, tasty and decent portions. Recommended.
Really disappointed. Was excited to find some vegetarian options in the Wairarapa. and asked if they could remove meat from one of the dishes which they had no problem with doing. However when it arrived I found numerous large accidental pieces of bacon throughout it. Won’t be coming here again
We regularly visit for the movie/meal deal that is excellent value.The food is consistently good and excellent value – the blue cod is simple but very good.The service is quick, friendly and knowledgeable.I would agree with others – one of the best places to eat in Masterton that produces consistently good food at good prices.Highly recommend the movie/meal deal.

This is the best place to eat in the whole Wairarapa as far as I am concerned. The food is consistently good, you know what you are going to get I.e. the menu description is accurate and the staff are great. Been going for ages never been disappointed. It gets busy sometimes as its not that big but if it was any bigger it would probably lose the great atmosphere -well done guys!
I have been to this cafe quite a few times. Quite a nice place to sit outside in the summer, can feel a little cramped inside. Having dietary restrictions, I can say this is one of best places in town that cater to vegetarians and those that are gluten free. They have a great selection in the all day menu as well as lots of cabinet food. I love the vegetarian nachos, the veggie lasagna is pretty good too. From the cabinet, I highly recommend the caramel oat cake (DIVINE!!!) and the brownies. Skip the fries and veggie big brekkie, nothing really wow worthy with those.
