Very unpleasant would not go back again, i had ordered a bacon and egg bap toasted and it wasnt cooked right through my partner had ordered a sweet chilli bap toasted and her chicken was so tough and chewy it wasnt edible, you could tell it had been cooked before previously, pleasant staff but horrible food
Large cafe with plenty of seating, good atmosphere and outdoor seating is great on a sunny day.Their vegetarian sandwiches are the best in town, chock with lots of filling. They have the best milkshakes in town from my experience too! Very nice savories too! Everyone I dine with here loves their coffees and sandwiches (as I am a non-coffee drinker, I can’t comment). This place also does fresh-pressed fruit and vegetable juices, for those that like that sort of thing.Steer clear of the chocolate chip cookies (they taste as unappetizing as they look) and the hot chocolates (which taste like heated up chocolate milk).
Food For Thought is potentially the best Cafe in the Wairarapa-just sneaking ahead of Wild Oats of Carterton. The coffee is simply world class, strange for a town such as Masterton. Cooked breakfast and baked goods are of good quality-perfect for young families. The service for me is whats stands out from the crowd-Management is always present! The owners set high standards in all areas, constantly on the move surveying their Cafe as to retain high standards both in their staff and product. The staff are polite and very professional, always greeting you by name and making charming conversation. There coffee is always served quickly and if there is going to be a wee delay they let you know on purchase. As patrons go I am very hard to please and never once had any disappointing moments whilst enjoying my Daily Latte Bowl. The owners of this establishment could take Cafe Management Classes at as to educate others on how to run a professional Business.Don’t ever change Team-I look forward to enjoying my usual cup of Joe next time I am back in country.
Excellent food, good selection, variety, and always fresh. Toilets are clean (that’s got to reflect on their kitchen) and staff very good at what they do!
