Coffee is good but a little inconsistent- good good variety – one of the more expensive places to get a coffee in comparison to other cafes close by- I don’t mind paying extra when the coffee is great, but consistency is a must when charging these prices

An excellent cafe in Moera serving great food. Excellent organic porridge with fruit, honey – one of the better ones and a good price. Have had some good lunches here as well. Visit and enjoy

Discovered this place by accident and oh what a find. The Moera neighbourhood must be happy having this in their backyard. Parking is easy, service friendly and efficient. Great food options for those visiting with ankle biters, just wanting coffee and a bite or something more substantial. Happy to see a variety of vege options, more than a token few.Has a space for the kids and great seating options. Will be sure to revisit and in good company with Zany Zeus on the next corner.

Ripe Coffee plays it too safe to the point that espresso quality is compromised. Good quality espresso should be full-bodied, balanced, bright and have creative undertones (bitter, acidic etc).Barista technique should also be reviewed, such as enforcing that all baristas prime/purge the group head before and after extraction. Also, encouraging baristas to back-flush before the extraction of any black coffee will help give some quality to an already abysmal espresso.

Awesome coffee, I always get a short and a long black as I think that’s the best test for a coffee. Got some beans to go, Cuba Cuba and the Espresso blends, both very nice. Food is great also, pretty familiar stuff but well made. Good music and magazine selection. Friendly staff. Also of interest was the cool mini roaster for doing sample roasts.

Went in again today for lunch, I had the creamy mushrooms on toast with caramelized onions (sans bacon), it was divine! I would have licked the plate, but didn’t want to be rude! My friend had the Haloumi which she enjoyed. Beautiful coffee as always, and excellent service. You can’t ask for much more than that.
