I always get the $5 halloumi sandwich and kiddies chocolate milk, good deal. I love how the milk comes in a little milk bottle, no plastic waste. Also love trying the cheese samples when waiting for my order!

Anyone who doesn’t give Zany Zeus 5 stars obviously doesn’t appreciate inexpensive and delicious organic food. You can catch me there drinking a lime shake.

Zany Zeus is one of those gorgeous cafés that make you want to squeem on the inside whenever anyone mentions the mere name. The climate is lovely and with a plethora of dairy products ranging from cheeses, ice creams, milks and yogurts, the place has really nailed its target audience, flying Greeksmen. On the day I went, I had Scarlet Johansson’s notorious chocolate cake which I could have devoured in little more than free seconds if my mouth were anymore bigger than it actually was. Now, don’t get me started on those toasted halloomi sandwitches. With a squeeze of lemon juice for a touch of acidity goodness, the creaminess from the cheese itself and the lovely crunch from the sourdough bread, I truly was sent to heaven for a short period of my life and returned with the obligation of drinking a smoothie which was truly horrific by all means. The staff seem relatively friendly. HOWEVER and this is not really a negative, but come on Zeus! Great Olympian Zeus from Mount Olympus, where the Hekia Parata is my seating!!! It’s like a bloody can of sardines in there! You walk in first thing in the morning with 3 others and you’ve got a full house. If I wanted you to destroy me in a game of poker I would have asked, you hear me Zany Zeus. Another thing, why are you open for what seems like 2 days a week for an allotted time of 30 seconds. I’ve been there on three occasions and I felt like a loser walking up to the door and having walk away watching and listening to everyone drive past in their cars laughing at me. I wanted to cry so much, but no need for the Croco tears Zany Zeus, Seashore Cabaret just down the road got my money! Jajajajajaja!!!!!!

The food is always up to a high standard and delicious every time, friendly service and manage the chaos of its business so well! Can’t go wrong with a standard halloumi sandwich!

Haloumi sandwiches, coffee and Ice cream are exquisite, usually pretty busy so prepare to wait but it is worth it. The service is fantastic too, if you like dairy this is the place to visit.

if you love dairy, this place is amazing! best cheese, milk, yogurt. and icecream! the feta is amazing, in fact all the cheese is. all the staff are awesome except for the young guy who has a very self righteous/smug attitude and refused us a paper cup even after we had spent heaps on food! such a let down as all the other staff are so incredibly lovely and helpful.

So, according to somewhere, Scarlet Johansson reckons this place has the best chocolate cake in the world. It was good but hubby says she needs to get out more! It looks spectacular but when you buy a slice to takeaway you don’t get any chocolate curls that adorn the top. It’s very moist, rich and heavy. I prefer light and fluffy myself. It’s also a very thin slice for $7.50. The raspberry and chia lamington looks better than it tastes. The place has a great selection of cheeses and Greek yoghurt that might be worth a return visit.
